Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) Qualifications:

• Bachelors or masters degree in a mental health/human services related field

• Registered with the Virginia Board of Counseling as QMHP-C or QMHP-A or qualified to work in Texas

• Proficient with computers

• Must have a computer and internet connection

 

Job Duties:

• Provide Community Support Work To Recipients (Adults And Children)

• Assess, Review, And Monitor A Recipient’s Status In Relation To Rehabilitation

• Timely Submit Accurate, Legible, And Complete Weekly Counseling Progress Notes

• Attend All Weekly Staff Meetings,  Scheduled Trainings, Team Meetings, Etc.

• Function Well In A Crisis And Promptly Returns Calls

• Accept Supervision

• Understand, Acknowledge And Agree To Adhere Medicaid Regulations

 

Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP) Qualifications:

 

• Licensed To Practice In The State Of Virginia or Texas

• Graduate Degree In A Mental Health Related Field From An Accredited Institution

 

Job Duties:

• Complete Initial Recipient Assessment

• Act As Team Leader Of The Service Planning Team

• Provide Crisis Intervention Services

• Supervise Non-Licensed Mental Health Staff That Is Assigned Under Their Supervision

• Submit Legible Progress Notes After Seeing A Recipient With Proper Documentation

• Promptly Returns Calls

• Understand, Acknowledge And Agree To Adhere To Medicaid Rules And Regulations
